Excellent Wedding and Reception Hall In Milwaukee

If you're looking for a reception hall for your wedding reception, consider the Tripoli Shrine Temple at 3000 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Milwaukee. It's the best kept secret of wedding and reception facilities.

You can also have your wedding here, both ceremony and reception in one location, a location which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

We were very impressed and pleased with the Tripoli when we had our wedding and reception there in October of 2007. The facility is very ornate and has a large hall (Humphrey) which can accomodate over 500 people for the reception. There is also a large parking lot on the east side of the building with ample parking.

As you may know, the Shriner's are a non-profit member-based organization which funds childrens hospitals across the US. Their main Web site is at www.shrinersinternational.org.

When you use the Tripoli Shrine Center to host your wedding and/or reception, a large part of the fees you pay go to support the Shriner's mission of offering free health care to children. (The people who tended bar for our reception were volunteers.) This does not mean that you don't get the high quality food and service associated with for-profit businesses. They have a kitchen right on site. Our guests raved about the food (particularly the chicken) and it only cost about $18/plate.

For the reception (Humphrey Hall) and ceremony (Grand Foyer) they have an excellent sound system complete with wireless microphones.
